About Us
Welcome to The New Jersey Youth Golf Foundation (NJYGF) and The First Tee Raritan Valley. The First Tee Raritan Valley is currently expanding and developing programs with several new partners to grow the game throughout the Raritan Valley Region in New Jersey. In 2010 this chapter is expanding programs in Middlesex, Somerset, Morris, Union, Hunterdon, and Warren Counties of New Jersey.
The First Tee program is seeking youth ages 5-19 to participate in the life skills experience and increase their golf skills. This chapter is operated by the New Jersey Youth Golf Foundation (Board of Trustees pictured above). The New Jersey Youth Golf Foundation is an official 501c(3) not for profit and was formed in 2007. The NJYGF is dedicated to providing The First Tee program for all students. The NJYGF annually provides financial assistance, programs, and scholarships.
This chapter currently operates programs at a variety of locations to include; Tara Greens Golf Center in Somerset, Tamarack Golf Course in East Brunswick, Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth, Neshanic Valley Golf Course in Neshanic Station, Fiddlers Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway, Somerset Hills YMCA in Basking Ridge, and the HUB Recreation Center in New Brunswick.
